Help Soraya with her fight!

This beautiful 10 month old baby girl is, Soraya-Marie. Soraya has today been diagnosed with a brain tumour called ‘atypical teratoid/rhabdoid (AT/RT)’ it is a very rare, cancerous and fast-growing tumour.

Soraya also has a condition called hydrocephalus which is a condition that occurs when fluid builds up in the skull and
causes the brain to swell. this was found along with the brain tumour.

The plan from the specialists at Sheffield is for soraya to have a 10 hour operation next week to do their best to remove some of the tumour. She can’t have it completely removed because of the location of the tumour. She
will then have a several weeks of chemotherapy and remain in Sheffield hospital for the remainder of her treatments.

My reasoning for setting up this go fund me page are to help take the pressure of financial obligations away from mum, Nikita and father, Simon. Soraya lives in Immingham and mum and dad have three other children whom all attend a local immingham school. it’s over an hour to get to Sheffield hospital and a lot of fuel cost not to mention the parking fees. Both parents will not be able to work whilst Soraya is undergoing treatment. It’s impossible for either of them to split themselves any further.

Soraya is everything to us. She is such a happy innocent and beautiful baby girl. At just 8 months old Soraya has shown so much courage and bravery. While Soraya fights, we fight with her to beat this. She has a long and uncertain path ahead of her but together with everyone’s help, love, prayers and support, we can make it just a little easier to cope.

Could you spare a moment to help? Anything you can spare would mean so much to Soraya and our family. Whilst we can only prey for a speedy, pain free recovery for baby Soraya we CAN help by just taking the financial stress from both mum and dad.
