Help reunite Albi with his long term friend Mic

My name is Kate and I have been saving the lives of abused dogs and cats from Spain and Cyprus for the past 26 years. I set up a charitable trust (European Animal Welfare} in 1999 to raise funds for my work. It is NOT registered with the Charities Commission but is registered with HMRC as a non profit charitable trust, HMRC REGISTERED NUMBER 2312342524.
In the early days, I received some good publicity for my rescue missions by way of a fantastic coverage by the Daily Mirror and Captain Cash at News of the World, (If you are of an age to remember him!), as well as local coverage and a documentary with Chris Packham's Inside Out TV series : https://youtu.be/ObI4fvZhgdo
Chris and his team came to film the collection of several dogs from a shelter in the Catalan region, and their journey back to England with me to eventually go to good homes. This was in 2005 when social media was not as it is today.
I am not at all competent with computers and rely upon my lovely friends who have supported my work from all over England since those early days.
Unfortunately, many of my supporters have now passed away and our financial situation is DIRE!!
I am needing to prioritise my veterinary visits for the 13 dogs in my care in order of urgency. In the past week my vet bills, grooming and feeding costs have totalled more than £1,500 and I have 5 dogs currently needing urgent treatment, added to which my daughter who lives in Lloret de Mar in Spain is feeding and caring for dozens of stray Spanish cats with no help at all. She is attempting to neuter as many as possible but needs money to pay the vets.
My latest rescue mission is for a Spanish shelter dog named Albi, who has been waiting for a home for years. Six weeks ago I brought his friend and kennel mate, Mic to England, Albi desperately needs to come too, and is booked to arrive in December, the cost of bringing each dog here is almost £1000 including their vaccinations, passports etc and travel. We do not have it.
Even more desperate is Pompona, a rescued Galgo, (Spanish greyhound) who was one of 240 dogs rescued by the Spanish police in June from a phoney vet who was bleeding dogs and cats to death with a syringe straight to their heart to sell their blood to unsuspecting vets all over Europe. He is currently awaiting trial. Google "Luis Miguel, El Vampiro de Humanes" for the whole sickening story and pictures. He is alleged to have killed 500 dogs in recent years and many of those rescued by the police in June have now died, their ravaged bodies too weak to recover.
Pompona is one of the lucky survivors, she is safe in a Spanish shelter now and is being prepared for her journey to me but funds are needed urgently to arrange her travel, and hopefully, for some of her friends who have survived their life in the Hell Hole
I cannot and will not turn my back on these poor innocents but my work is becoming financially impossible.
I beg of you to help me to help them! We are all they have.
Signed with hope and gratitude,
Kate Green
