Soti & Family fire recovery fund

Anyone who frequented the Cat House before the pandemic is sure to remember and love our dear friend and former employee, Soti Akoteu. A few weeks ago an electrical fire burned his family house down. Soti's son, RJ, smelled smoke in the middle of the night and by the time he was able to wake his grandma up, the fire had engulfed half of the house, they narrowly escaped by jumping out the window. Thankfully, the three survived with only minor injuries, but lost their home and all of their belongings to the fire and are currently living in a motel. It remains unclear how much their insurance will cover, or how long they will have to remain in the motel. So for all the times Soti has made you laugh, given you kind words when you needed them, or had your back in a tough situation, he and his family really need your help now.
