Soul Hymns 2

Welcome to the sequel, this may be the last time i use both of the words “soul” and “hymns” in the same album title. LOL

here’s the situation:

i’ve got a full dropbox folder, and it’s more than enough for a full length album (12-16 songs). Starting with authentic, sincere lyrics, written in the context of an intimate relationship with the Lord,

Ethan C Davis (the producer behind the original Soul Hymns) and I will be crafting each song into a bedroom-soul, minimalist type production.

In order to make this album, we need to raise $26k to cover production & marketing expenses, and to help bring on a team to run the administrative side of the album so that I can focus on writing/singing/playing.

I’ve found that if i remain in the creative zone & stay away from admin, the creative works that come out of me are much more authentic.

As an independent artist, recently engaged & soon to be married, it will be no small task to take on embarking toward this new album while also trying to plan my wedding, but I’m honored to have my lovely fiance & creative genius Abreonna by my side. She’ll be running point on social media and marketing.

She’s a clock and I’m a cloud, she keeps me grounded and focused, and I can’t wait to let y’all experience what we create together.
