Seeking "SOLE" MATES for Kid's Shoe Project!

The Magic of Moxie outreach program is excited to support the efforts and mission of Soles of Luv this Lenten Season!

While we cannot wash the feel of these children, like Jesus so humbly demonstrated, we can provide them with a new pair of shoes and socks they desperately need! As you've heard in the video, many of these children have shoes that are torn, without soles, and most commonly considerably too small.

Here's how you can help...By donating funds and / or shoes to supply school children with a pair of shoes and socks, a basic need, that most of us take for granted.

Average Cost of Shoes and Sox=$25-$40 depending on size.

We have included a link with shoes where you can order and send them!

We have set a goal of assisting six elementary schools with this endeavor. All participants will be confidential and will be identified by their teachers as being in need of shoes! The first school, out of a student body of 300, was in need of 100.

Here is a bit about Soles of Luv....

Soles of Luv was born in the heart of founder Cathy Crawford. After learning of a need that existed in the elementary school located next to her parish, it was brought to her attention that there were many children within the school who had no socks or underwear. In addition, many of them were wearing a parent or older sibling’s shoes that were either way too big or too small and often tattered. Cathy, who was already leading initiatives to feed and clothe the homeless, took it upon herself to attempt to meet the need and provide for these students that most of us take for granted. She contacted local schools and together with a group of friends began providing new shoes and socks for the children. Word of this spread quickly and soon schools began to contact her asking for her help. Soles of Luv was then formed!
