Souls of Siblings

Souls of Siblings is a nonprofit 501c3 organization that aims to provide athletic opportunities to youth who may not otherwise be able to participate due to financial constraints.

On December 7, 2021 nine year old Demetrius Wall-Neal and six year old Londynn Wall-Neal were murdered in Canal Winchester, OH. They were executed as they were entering the vehicle of 22 year old Charles Wade to meet their mother for dinner. Two gunmen ran up to the car and fired 57 shots, instantly killing all three. The children were innocent victims of a targeted hit on Wade. Their murderers have yet to be charged.

The grandmother of the children, Jessica Jones, established the nonprofit to keep the memory of her grandchildren alive through what they loved to do…participate in sports.

The goal of Souls of Siblings is to reach as many young children as possible who wish to pursue organized sports. Souls of Siblings strives to not only pay fees but to also provide funding for equipment, shoes, uniforms, etc.

Through sports, Souls of Siblings, will provide education on gun violence. Participants will be required to sign a pledge to keep their community safe by not engaging in gun violence.

A goal of Souls of Siblings is community outreach by providing education, information, volunteer opportunities and necessary equipment to keep communities safe.

A long term goal of Souls of Siblings is to provide a safe violence free facility for youth to receive sports training, play sports, receive mentoring, academic and mental health support.

Demetrius loved to play football and basketball. His dream was to play for The Ohio State Buckeyes. He idolized former OSU player Chase Young, Odell Beckham, Jr. and LeBron James. Demetrius was a natural athlete who could play any position. He was bigger than most kids his age with tremendous strength. He had a passion for tackling players on the opposing team.

Londynn was born a gymnast and flipped her way through everything she did. While she was denied the opportunity to play organized sports, she dreamed of participating in competitive cheer. She was our cartwheel queen!

In memory of Londynn and Demetrius, and to keep their dreams alive, Souls of Siblings - The Londynn and Demetrius Wall-Neal Foundation was created to support other children in achieving their athletic dreams and potential.
