Sounding Boards x Nomad : Outdoor Gallery
Donation protected
You can be a part of inspiring social justice in your community by funding powerful public art and its makers!
We would be grateful for your contribution to funding San Diego’s newest mural project, Use Your Voice, organized by Sounding Boards and Nomad Donuts. The wall will serve as an outdoor gallery with rotating artworks by a diverse group of artists, beginning with Josue Baltezar, Kenda Francis, Mary Jhun, and Jon Pucci. Each piece shares a hopeful message about unity through a justice lens.
Sounding Boards is a justice and unity-focused public art initiative founded in support of the Black Lives Matter demonstrations. Founded in Chicago, Sounding Boards has organized and funded for more than 25 murals to date, donating proceeds to the artists and select neighborhood nonprofits.
We are seeking BIPOC artists and others with diverse perspectives to collaborate on future projects. Please reach out if you’d like to get involved! https://www.soundingboards.org/contact
Sounding Boards and Nomad will be hosting a celebration event on Juneteenth, from 12-2pm featuring DJ Wet Carrot and DJ Alx Crtz. Stop by, have a donut, and chat with founders Christina and Camille. EVENT DETAILS HERE
