Get PPE for Medical Professionals to Fight COVID19

Hello everyone,

As we know, there's currently a critical shortage of PPE supplies among medical professionals at this time across the nation. It's tragic to read case studies about doctors and nurses having to use garbage bags and scarfs for protection, as this puts them, their patients and the rest of us at risk. All because the hospitals, local and federal governments are unable to coordinate and supply the necessary equipment in time. 

My name is Boris Mordkovich. I'm the co-founder and CEO of EVELO, an electric bike company based out of New York and Seattle, started in 2011. 

Over the last 9 years, we have worked with a number of suppliers and factories in China and Taiwan to produce products for our company. Our suppliers have recently gave us access to order the much needed personal protective equipment directly from factories in China & Hong Kong and have it shipped to the U.S.

The supplies can generally be ordered and delivered to U.S. within 2 weeks. As such, we want to use our access to the trusted suppliers to source the Personal Protective Equipment and distribute to local medical professionals in need.

What Supplies Can You Get?

Currently, the supplies that are in most need and that we can source are as follows:

* KN95 Masks
* Face Shields
* Protective Suits 

We'll continue to monitor the needs and may adjust what we source and distribute accordingly.

What's The Goal? 

We want to source and distribute PPE to medical professionals and facilities that are most in need.

To get things started, my co-founder, Yevgeniy, and I will personally donate $1,000 to this campaign and we invite others to join in as well. 

We'll begin placing orders from our suppliers and will document the entire process with photos and updates, so you can see this at every stage.. All funds will be used towards purchase and shipping costs exclusively.

How Are We Distributing The Equipment?

Our goal is to order from our suppliers while the need is the highest and distribute it to medical professionals, starting in New York but expanding to other areas as well.
