La Conférence de la Bandung du Nord est un événement international qui s'inspire de l'esprit de Bandung de 1955. Notre conférence 2024, entièrement organisée par des personnes non-blanches, marquera une première en Amérique du Nord et elle va aborder des questions touchant leurs réalités qu’elles ont en commun dans le nord global, ainsi que réfléchir à un projet d'une Internationale Décoloniale qui scellerait une alliance politique entre les mouvements décoloniaux d'Occident. Il s'agira de forger des projets et des outils de lutte et de résistance face, d'une part, à la montée des nationalismes suprémacistes et de l'ultra libéralisme et, d'autre part, à la poursuite de la domination impérialiste sous toutes ses formes.
La Conférence de la Bandung du Nord promet d'être un espace inspirant pour l'échange, l’apprentissage, le renforcement des alliances politiques entre les mouvements décoloniaux d'Occident, et la mobilisation collective vers un avenir libre de la domination impérialiste sous toutes ses formes.
Dans un souci d’équité et de démocratisation du savoir, la participation sera libre et gratuite pour tous. Mais, pour pouvoir concrétiser cette vision si ambitieuse, nous faisons appel à la solidarité financière de la communauté décoloniale de Montréal et d’ailleurs pour nous aider à couvrir les coûts logistiques de cet événement. Nous tenons à ce que chacun puisse prendre part à ce moment important de convergence politique décoloniale.

The Bandung of the North Conference is an international event inspired by the spirit of the 1955 Bandung Conference. Our 2024 conference, entirely organized by non-white individuals, will mark a first in North America. It will address issues common to their realities in the global north and reflect on the project of a Decolonial International that would seal a political alliance between decolonial movements in the West. The aim is to forge projects and tools of struggle and resistance against, on one hand, the rise of supremacist nationalisms and ultra-liberalism, and on the other hand, the pursuit of imperialist domination in all its forms.
The Bandung of the North Conference promises to be an inspiring space for exchange, learning, strengthening political alliances between decolonial movements in the West, and collective mobilization towards a future free from imperialist domination in all its forms.
In the spirit of fairness and democratization of knowledge, participation will be open and free for all. However, to realize this ambitious vision, we call upon the financial solidarity of the decolonial community in Montreal and elsewhere to help us cover the logistical costs of this event. We want everyone to be able to participate in this important moment of decolonial political convergence.
