South Africa-New BeginingZ Orphanage

As many of you may know this past winter I spent one month in South Africa. With all of the craziness in the world right now I couldn't stop thinking about how my little babies back in South Africa are doing. I sent an e-mail to Tahiyya, this angel who started New BeginingZ orphanage in Pretoria and Cape Town and the response I got truly hurt my heart and filled my eyes with tears. Tahiyya started this orphanage back in 2001 and I got the honor to volunteer my time and one of her two orphanages. Tahiyya also started something in 2008 called the "Baby Wall". A wall with a slot where desperate mothers can safely leave unwanted babies rather than dumping them in dustbins, toilets, pit latrines, parks or streets. We want to offer desperate mothers and destitute babies a safe alternative. "The Baby Wall"
Due to COVID-19 Tahiyya expressed to me how their main income of funding has been cut so dramatically that she is uncertain what the future will hold for her babies. Let me add that her babies are the happiest children I have ever seen. Everyday when my fellow student volunteers and I walked in the doors, we got greeted by the biggest smiles and biggest hugs. These children are so lucky to be in such a safe and loving environment. I can go on for hours so instead I included a link to New BeginingZ website so you all can learn more about the orphanage.
I know money is tight for everyone in the world due to COVID-19 but I truly believe that any amount of a donation no matter how big or small is crucial to continue giving these children a healthy and happy life. Becides COVID, some of these children have HIV/AIDS and due to that are immure compromised. Over the next few weeks I am asking for you to please open up your hearts and join me in helping out Tahiyya and her babies. Please share this message along and together we can help make a change.
