Last week The Advertiser announced the future of SA's big Santa was not looking good He has been on display in SA since the 1960's but for the last two years he has not been displayed due to costs. So it was looking like he might be making a one way trip to Wingfield Dump

So Friday I offered them $2 for him !!!

A special council meeting was called tonight to decide the fate of Adelaides Santa. Council voted in favour of my offer to purchase the big fella

Five years ago David Jones sold the BIGGEST Santa in the Southern Hemisphere to the council for $1. My offer of $2 means the council DOUBLED their investment in five years

All jokes aside he needs $34,000 worth of repairs so I can get him back on display. So heres where you guys come in !!!!

I’m holding a Xmas in July event in 2022, however tickets are limited to 300 people and I know how much everyone wants to contribute to saving the big fella. So I figured we’d create a Go Fund Me too, and the people of SA can donate as much or as little as they like!

Santa has been in storage for nearly three years. It’s gonna take some hard work to get him back in shape and I can’t do this by myself. So come on SA.!
