Hunting the South Downs Way

Plans are afoot!

Many of the quarry team - without whom there would be no hunting - are completing the challenging 163km {that's 100 miles to us oldies} of the South Downs Way, in order to raise essential funds for The South Downs Bloodhounds. The quarry and any other energetic and enthusiastic runners/walkers will complete relay sections to end near Winchester with another group of walkers completing the last 6 miles - but in reverse - so that the entire length is completed. Jeremy and his hounds will be ready to meet everyone to celebrate their achievements.

The initial participants will be leaving Eastbourne early on Saturday 14th September and will hand over in relays, continuing through the night to finish near Winchester on September 15th at 15.00hours.

Whilst walking or running the route, we hope to meet and inform people about 'Hunting the Clean Boot' or as we know it: ‘Hunting Humans For Fun’.
