Support South Snowdonia Mountain Rescue – Saving Lives in the Mountains
South Snowdonia’s mountains are breathtaking, but they can also be dangerous. Every year, South Snowdonia Mountain Rescue volunteers put themselves on the line to save hikers, climbers, and adventurers who find themselves in trouble. Whether it's an injured walker on Cadair Idris, a lost climber in the Rhinogydd, or a stranded family caught out by sudden weather changes, their team is ready to respond in all conditions.
As a volunteer-run charity, they rely on donations to keep going. From essential equipment like stretchers and ropes to running their response vehicles and training new team members, every penny counts toward making sure they can be there when someone needs us.
How You Can Help
We’re aiming to raise £2000 to support their work and keep our team equipped and ready. Your donation, big or small, will go directly towards:
✅ Life-saving rescue equipment
✅ Maintenance of rescue vehicles
✅ Training for our dedicated volunteers
✅ Essential supplies to operate in tough mountain conditions
The mountains are for everyone, and we want to make sure they stay safe for all who explore them. If you’ve ever loved a day out in Cadair Idris or anywhere in South Snowdonia, please consider giving back to those who will be there if you ever need them.
Every donation helps them save lives. Please share and support if you can!
