South West Coast Path part 2

Having had the opportunity in June 2021 to walk the Cornish section of the South West Coast Path, I've decided its time to again don my walking shoes and carry a heavy burden of mainly dog food and treats from Plymouth back to Poole in Dorset, a distance of approximately 220 miles on the rugged coast path. We will be commencing our adventure on 10/06/24 and the plan is that the walk will be completed over a 23 day period but this time my companion will be Noé, my Italian Spinone who is a SOFA boy ( that's him in the picture alongside the beast).

My previous fund raising on the path was with my wonderful Spinone girl, Martha, but oh boy, did she attract attention with her saddle bags, to the point I had to factor Martha time in on our walks with everyone wanting to stop and pet her, and I fully expect the same with Noé! Although now departed, Martha will be coming with her little brother Noé so that we can sprinkle some of her ashes along the way in secluded bays which I know she'd have loved.

The previous walk benefited my personal well being and allowed for adjustment back to civilian life, whereas this walk's just because I'm mad and thought why not! However, I still wanted others to benefit from this endeavour too, so once again I've decided to raise money in aid of Spinone Overseas For Adoption (SOFA) and every donation will help this great cause. As it says on the tin this wonderful charity rehome Spinoni dogs predominantly from Italy to the UK; Spinoni are a hunting breed of dog and are used as such in Italy, so are often seen as being no more than a work tool, being discarded if not reaching the required level, or when too old. My Noé was rescued too , and he also wants you to help rehome others of his wonderful friendly breed.
