The Southcoast MA NST, made up of volunteers from throughout the Southcoast of MA, will use 100% of all donations collected to provide an amazing family rent support as they continue to settle into the area. Since November 2021, we have been so blessed to see the family of four blossom and grow here on the Southcoast.
The next step on their journey to self-sufficiency is to move into a permanent apartment in New Bedford. We have been fortunate to find a wonderful, safe, and affordable apartment that the family can now call home. The challenge is that they still cannot afford the monthly rent so our group has committed to providing part of the rent ($800/mo.) for the next year to enable them to get working and be able to afford to pay the rent going forward.
