Single Medicine Hat Man displaced by fire and needing assistance
The new year got off to a bad start for my father as he got called home from work January 23,2016 to find his house burnt down. The cause of the fire at this time is unknown.
My father and his dog sadie are now without a home, unfortunately there was no insurance policy on the property. So in addition to the physical, mental, and emotional pain my father is experiencing there is a gigantic financial burden placed on his shoulders.
We are looking for donations of any kind, I do know the economy is not the best right now but this man no longer has anything left. Any denomination of donation would help.
The goal is to reach around 8000$ to buy a travel trailor for him and his dog to live in while they figure out how to clean up the mess that the fire left behind and also to purchase basic living necessities as he has to do this without help from the insurance company.
I, his daughter Riley am starting this go fund me page in hopes to be able to help my father at this difficult time, I do not live near my father to be able to house him or I would. My father would almost do anything for anyone and is always willling to help out those in need, he is not a man to ask for help. Starting over takes time as well as trying to heal from this devestating disaster. It is my hope that I am able to raise money for him to make his short term living situation better.
If you would like to donate any clothing sizes l-xl shirts/coats/sweaters, pants size 36, shoes size 11 , electronics, house hold items etc can be dropped off at 757 9th st SE in Medicine Hat bottles can be dropped off there as well.
