SOUTHERN LEYTE DISASTER RELIEF

Hello all,

 

My name is Rashed Espejon. My mother Gigi is from a small 'Barangay' (Barrio) called Iba in Malitbog, Southern Leyte and a family friend from Sogod Leyte which has also been extremely devastated by Odette.

 

We now have been informed that 2 relatives have passed , 24 dead and 100,000 displaced from the devastation of Odette.

 

Relief Efforts have been making its way to Southern Leyte, however little to no provision of basic services are reaching small barangays like Iba and Timba, due to insufficient government funds and assistance. They are in dire need of food and shelter.

 

We are humbly requesting any donation, as you know a little goes a long way. Proceeds will go to the purchase of food packs and water for Iba and Timba, for those that need it the most for for now, until major relief recovery and rehab Efforts make their way through all of Southern Leyte.

 

My aunt, sister of my mom, Josefina Igna Respecia friend of my mom Aste Malaza (follow them on facebook) will personally facilitate the purchase and distribution of goods on foot. She will provide updates via pictures, videos and a list of relief items being provided on facebook and gofundme.
