Southern Turkey Earthquake Relief Fund

As many of you may have heard, Southern Turkey was hit by devastating earthquakes reaching magnitudes of 7.7 earlier today (February 6th, 2023). The current death toll is 1651 and is expected to rise.

I wanted to start this fundraiser as a Turkish person living in Canada to raise awareness and if possible raise money that will go directly to Ahbap which is a voluntary search, assist and rescue organization.

You can also donate directly to Ahbap (I will include the details below) but I am aware that the process can be complicated if you do not live in Turkey and are transferring money internationally. I am hoping this page will ease the process for those who would like to help.

Any amount that you can spare will help thousands of people who are left injured and homeless during freezing winter conditions as well as an untold number of survivors still under the rubble.

I truly appreciate all your help in raising awareness and getting the help that is much needed.
