SouthSide Supply and Slide (4S) ✊

We are a group of young Black men in Southside Minneapolis who are fundraising to make supply runs for groceries and common household necessities. Local churches, community centers, schools, and businesses are working with volunteers to distribute donations to families everyday. We’ve been keeping up with the lists of needs from about a dozen distribution centers. Our first couple runs have been support by donations from Black Visions Collective and community members which helped us move about $2,000 worth of supplies. We’re now making smaller runs to various sanctuary sites.

     All of us have been deeply inspired by this ecosystem of aid and support that has come together and we want to keep it going. Even before the Minneapolis Rebellion our communities have been short of their basic needs. If our government won’t do the work, it’s up to us. Let’s get it
