Southside Wolfpack Youth Football

Hello, we are a youth football team, (12U division) based in Chicago, IL.  It has been a long road to the Super Bowl and our boys have taken the title for Midwest Conference Super Bowl Champs undefeated 2019. We recently were invited to the National Youth Championship in Florida, an event that is invite-only to the best teams in the nation. We are trying to raise a minimum of $15000 to pay for boarding, travel, transportation, activities, and food for our 30 boys. Our parents have been very supportive throughout the season with the strict demands of time, donations and events to congratulate them on all their hard work and efforts. Although it has brought an abundance of joy to the boys, it has taken up a lot of our personal finances. We were informed of this invitation on November 19, 2019, that our boys had qualified for the event due to their successful season. It is obviously short notice and all money is due on December 1, 2019, to ensure that travel arrangements and expenses have been accounted for. Our boys are all very excited to go and deserve this chance at greatness. To play they are required to keep grades a minimum of 3.1 in which all of our boys have met and exceeded. We are strong advocates of education first! They have been training months before the season, attending training camp and putting extra time at the park, and practicing 3 days a week during the season. They have created a brotherly bond like no other and all love each other. We plan on trying to keep the team together as long as possible because our boys are truly amazing and our team is full of very talented children that have been developing so well throughout every season they play. We teach our boys the fundamentals of playing an organized sport. We correct them on how to play to ensure that they are always safe. Our football family has grown into a very supportive and loving environment despite the harsh rep that the city has been accustomed to being viewed. Our goal is to keep inner-city children on a structured, healthy and disciplined path in the attempts to guide them to a brighter future.
