Research Assistant for the EWHADP

Help me (Dr. Andy White ) get the Eastern Woodlands Household Archaeology Data Project (EWHADP) back into high gear!
I started the EWHADP a little over a year ago with the goal of building a website that would assemble and freely distribute information about prehistoric house structures in eastern North America. I was able to put a lot of time into the project to get it going, assembling in one place for the first time ever data on over 2000 archaeological houses in the Eastern Woodlands.
With the demands of my job and other commitments, I haven't been able to devote any serious time to improving the existing data, let alone adding in new information that is sent to me. It will require a significant time commitment to get caught up and build the database and the website into the best resource it can be. If the past year is any indication, I don't think I'll be able to do it alone.
I am looking for funds to support hiring a graduate student research assistant to bring the database and the website up to where it should be. The goal of $3400 is based on a $12/hour rate for 280 hours (20 hours per week).
The data collected by the EWHADP are, and always be, open access. If you think that it's time we start really leveraging the archaeological information that we've spent untold dollars and person-hours collecting in this part of the county, please consider contributing to this project.
All supporters will be listed in the "Supporters " section of the EWHADP website (with affiliation and/or link if you wish).
Supporters who contribute $50 or more will receive a fashionable "Always Open" bumper sticker with the EWHADP logo.
Supporters who contribute $100 or more will recieve . . . I'll buy you a beer. Somehow. Someday. Somewhere.
