Spaghetti's Medical Expenses
Donation protected
Our 10-month-old Spaghetti has been sick since Wednesday, unable to keep any food or liquids down. We spent 7 hours at the vet on Saturday, where he had x-rays done to show he had a partial intestinal blockage. He received fluid under the skin and anti-nausea medication in hopes that he would be able to pass the object; however, Spaghetti's condition has not improved. Spaghetti likes to chew on everything, and we think he might have swallowed one of our kiddo's toys. Spaghetti needs to stay overnight at a hospital to receive IV fluids and have labs, ultrasound and potentially more tests run to ensure the foreign object is not causing damage to his intestines or becoming a complete obstruction. The vet hospital has given us an estimated $2500-$3500 for his overnight stay and labs. We hope the IV fluids help him pass the object on his own, but if not, he may require surgery that can cost $7000+. We understand it is the holiday season, and you all have other expenses, but even sharing this post helps. We want Spaghetti to be able to live a long healthy life and hope he can recover from this.
We thank you for any amount donated and/or any link shares as well.
With love,
Sam
