SPANISH FLOODS 2024 VALENCIA - SUPPORT FROM HOMEWARD BOUND
Donation protected
We are Homeward bound sisters supporting the town of a sister after the worst deadly flooding disaster in Spain on 29th October 2024.
Our hearts are with the people who have lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods in this unprecedented flooding. Over 200 human lives have been lost, and around 1,900 people remain missing. Families have been displaced, businesses destroyed, and critical infrastructure has suffered major damage, leaving communities vulnerable and in need of immediate support.
The response from official bodies has been limited and uncoordinated, leaving this community to face the aftermath largely on its own. With resources stretched thin and coordinated aid delayed, local families are struggling to access even basic necessities like food and medical care. This is where our global community can step in to make a difference.
As a global community united through the Homeward Bound Projects, we are rallying together to support our colleague’s town. Homeward Bound is a community of women and non-binary people in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine), united to tackle the climate crisis and address global challenges by reshaping the leadership narrative toward collaboration, community engagement, and resilience. Guided by these values, we are committed to stepping up in times of crisis and support each other and our communities.
Our goal is to bring immediate relief to those in need and support longer-term rebuilding efforts, restoring hope and stability to this beautiful area. Our mission extends beyond borders. We invite you, as a part of our global family, to join us in supporting this cause. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a profound difference in Paiporta.
Let’s show the strength of our community and help this town rebuild and recover. Please donate today and help us spread the word.
Thank you for your generosity and compassion.
