
Spanish Flat Fire Victims
One week after the worst wildfires to hit Napa County since the devastation of 2017, the assessment of the damage and recovery from the Hennessey Fire that swept around Lake Berryessa has only just begun. Residents are returning this week to pick through the charred remains and ash to find anything worth saving. Almost every unit in the park is now reduced to twisted pieces of metal, ash and charred wood. Everything is gone.
One of the hardest places hit is the Spanish Flat Mobile Villa, where the residents are mostly 50+, with some residents having lived there for over 30 years. This was home to so many. Any donation you can give these residents will help them through this very difficult time and provide immediate relief for basic needs as they rebuild their lives.
