Spark a Classroom of Young Writers!

Tax deductible
What if you and your imagination were cut loose and given permission to write about anything – anything – bouncing around in your young head or heart when you were 10 years old?

Oh, the stories you'd write... the courage you'd gain... the stories we'd enjoy!

Feel the goosebumps?  It's a sign to please donate now ;-)

National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) itself is a fun, empowering approach to creative writing. The idea is to draft a novel in one month. For 30 wild, exciting, surprising days each November, you get to lock away your inner editor, let your imagination take over, and just create! My graphic novel, "Toe Jam and The Toenail Fairies,"  sprung to life during a NaNoWriMo writing frenzy.

NaNo's Young Writers Program supports under-18 writers and K-12 educators as they rock the November flagship event and take part in smaller writing challenges year-round. The program provides the structure, community, and encouragement to help young people find their voices, achieve creative goals, and build new worlds – on and off the page.

Any donation makes an impact so please kick in if you can.

Thanks in advance for your contribution, which means a ton to me. And to the bored kid sitting in the back row of her third-grade class bursting with stories to tell if someone would just give her a chance.
