Sparking Hope For The Animals, One Donation at a Time

Founded in 2013, Granjita TyH, is the first sanctuary for farmed animals in Mexico.

However, since 2011, we have rescued and sheltered animals that were in vulnerable situations (we were a dog shelter before). To this date we have been able to help more than 2000 animals.

Our work has been possible thanks to the support of many people who believe in us and want to be a positive change in the world.

Several of the inhabitants are already seniors and they need special care and many others need medical attention. For example, Yepa is a dog who was rescued from a puppy mill, she is 10 years old and suffers from a heart condition. Donalda is an 11-year-old duck, she is disabled but of course she has a great life. And Altair is a 34-year-old mare who was forced to pull a garbage cart and this left many injuries on her joints and back. *Most of the inhabitants have lived with us since they were babies, that is to say, we have accompanied each other for more than a decade.

Nowadays the expenses to cover all the inhabitants' needs in order to provide them a safe life are becoming unmanageable.

Therefore, we are launching this fundraising campaign because we believe that regular people, in regular places, making one donation at a time can achieve an enormous change.

Fundado en 2013, Granjita TyH, es el primer santuario para animales considerados de granja en México.

Sin embargo, desde 2011 rescatamos y albergamos animales que se encontraban en situación de vulnerabilidad (antes éramos un refugio para perros). Hasta la fecha hemos podido ayudar a más de 2000 animales.

Nuestro trabajo ha sido posible gracias al apoyo de muchas personas que creen en nosotros y quieren ser un cambio positivo en el mundo.

Varios de los habitantes ya son adultos mayores y necesitan cuidados especiales y muchos otros necesitan atención médica. Por ejemplo, Yepa es una perrita que fue rescatada de un criadero, tiene 10 años y padece una afección cardíaca. Donalda es una patita de 11 años, es discapacitada pero tiene una gran vida. Y Altair es una yegua de 34 años que fue obligada a tirar de una carreta de basura y esto le dejó muchas heridas en las articulaciones y la espalda. *La mayoría de los habitantes hemos vivido con nosotros desde que eran bebés, es decir, nos acompañamos desde hace más de una década.

Hoy en día los gastos para cubrir todas las necesidades de los habitantes para brindarles una vida segura nos están rebasando.

Por ello estamos lanzando esta campaña de recaudación de fondos porque creemos que gente común, en lugares comunes, haciendo una donación a la vez, puede lograr un cambio enorme.
