Sparky's Kidney Challenge

Sparky has always been the spark in our family! This past July, he went in for a teeth cleaning and cyst removal and his life has instantly changed. His kidneys reacted to the anesthesia and anti-inflammatory medicine and it put him in distress. He stopped eating and had 3 days of IV fluids for 8 hours a day.

When that didn’t work, the vet said he would need dialysis. We took him to the emergency clinic and they thankfully had a nephrology vet specialist. He has been hospitalized since Saturday and is having a feeding tube inserted to ensure that he gets his nutrients. After overwhelming medical expenses of over $9,000, we are looking forward to providing Sparky many years of happiness. Please help Sparky, the Jack Russell, be able to live to jump and play again.
