Sparta Baseball Club loses everything in fire

On Saturday, January 14th, a fire destroyed the storage facility that houses Sparta Baseball Club's equipment, resulting in a total loss. Thankfully, no one was injured and the fire did not spread to nearby property. Unfortunately, all SBC bats, balls, helmets, uniforms, catching equipment, and other items were destroyed.

SBC is a non-profit organization that annually supports approx. 80-100 local youth baseball players (between 6 - 8 traveling teams depending on headcount) as well as one adult team with about 20 college-aged players.

All proceeds will be used to purchase new equipment for the youth baseball program. Your consideration and support to help these players/teams get back on the diamond this summer is greatly appreciated.
