Spartan Mask Intiative

With COVID-19 placing such a strain on the availability for PPE, healthcare professionals are in dire need of supplies. While hospitals are funded by the government and are receiving materials regularly, healthcare professionals in other realms such as nursing homes are running dangerously low on important supplies like masks to help protect themselves and their patients from the virus. 

As a community it’s so important for us to join forces to help our frontline workers! We’re from the community service group Spartan Mask Initiative (We’re affiliated with both Michigan State University and the Michigan Indian Community Service group - although we are not a specific cultural or religious group). We raise money towards purchasing KN-95 masks to donate to healthcare professionals working at nursing homes in inner-city Detroit. Our goal at SMI is to raise money through generous donations to purchase KN95 masks. Every $5 goes towards purchasing one mask for a healthcare worker at a nursing home in Detroit. Help make a difference and donate $5 to help a frontline worker today!
