HELP HEIDI, CUT OFF FROM WORKERS' COMP!

Mental Health Worker and union activist Heidi Beck slid on a wet washcloth on the job and wrenched her knee, which her doc says will eventually have to be replaced. Heidi can barely walk, but her employer recently shut off her workers' comp benefits and now Heidi has no income! She has applied for disability benefits but hasn't received any yet, and is awaiting a Hearing on her workers' comp claim. In the meantime she needs our help to get by! Please kick in whatever you can. As a union shop steward in AFSCME Local 470, Heidi has defended other union members and fought for better working conditions, including at the Fuller Mental Health Center.
