Commando Speed March in aid of the Curtis Palmer Program

Set up and run by Police Officers and Police Staff for Police Officers and Police Staff. Operating since 2019 as a charitable organisation after rapid growth the Curtis Palmer Program applied for Charity status and was granted this in 2023. Registered Charity Number 1202555. Our remit of care is both serving and retired Police Officers and Police Staff and at the CEOs discretion Military Veterans.

Myself and 4 others will be entering a team at the Spean Bridge Commando Speed March, a 7 mile run following the initial route undertaken by potential Commando trainees during WW2. Participants carry a loaded bergan weighing 36lbs and, wearing army issued boots, run to Achnacarry House through the foothills of Ben Nevis passing the iconic Commando Memorial. The pass time is 1 hour.

I will also be running the Manchester Half Marathon on Sunday 16th February.
