Help Us Complete Our New Building for Special Needs Children

Special Children Special People (SCSP) is a registered NGO permit number 9071 and childcare home registration number MGLSD/AC0217 in Mpigi and Kampala Districts, Uganda, committed to empowering children with special needs and their families. For over 13 years, we have transformed lives through Advocacy, inclusive education, therapy, and community inclusion initiatives. Our mission is to create a world where every child, regardless of ability, can thrive with dignity.

Despite our progress, our facilities are no longer sufficient to meet the growing enrolment. A bigger space will allow us to provide more services, accommodate more children, and further promote inclusion and equality providing a safe, inclusive environment for tailored support, fostering inclusion and equality.

This is not a scam but Uganda cannot host crowdfunding accounts, hence our long-term friend and supporter Eva Moesli from Switzerland has helped set up this campaign. Her family has supported different programs under SCSP.

Thanks to the generosity of our friends and supporters, the basement foundation is complete as seen in the picture —a significant milestone! However, we still have a long way to go. The next step is to start construction of the ground floor, which will cost us $25,000 equivalent to Swiss franc 22,500 to completion. Every contribution—big or small—will bring us closer to creating transformative opportunities for these children.
