Special Needs Transportation for Linda DuBois

UPDATE!!!  We have paid forward all your generous donations by donating the van to a Grove area family, Mike and Tammy Parlett, whose young son Roland is in serious need of transportation. We know how important such transportation is to reach medical services, and certainly also to just be about in the world. Mom was so thrilled to get out just to take a drive and see the lake and the sunset. We wanted you to know that your kindness in funding the van had an immeasurable impact, and now it will continue to impact another. Thank you again, and bees you all!
 
Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend Linda DuBois has been diagnosed with ALS at age 81 and we are in need of special transportation for her. She is confined to a special wheel chair, and eventually respiratory and feeding assistance. We would like for Linda to be able to attend events and go to doctor appointments in and outside of the Grove, OK area, but anything outside of Grove entails rental of a special van each time, and from quite a distance. We can purchase what is needed for about $20,000.00 used, and this would allow us to use her assets to provide desperately needed in-home care and other equipment. We appreciate any contribution toward this effort to improve Linda's quality of life! Donations will go to a fund set up to provide payment only to Linda's medical expenses.
