(ADAPT) Special Olympics, Adapted P.E. Documentary

My name is Michael Roth, filmmaker and once a Special Education Teacher out of San Antonio Texas.

I have produced for ABC for several years and have made 3 independent films, including this current film I am promoting, ADAPT.

I'm raising this money to promote the documentary that captured Adapted P.E. and Special Olympics student-athletes and their coaches throughout the 2021-22 school year. This documentary was made to raise awareness for these wonderful programs that help thousands of students and athletes. It was made to put forth a call to action; not only to support these programs but also to support the creation of more programs aimed towards helping special needs individuals both in school and after they graduate.

We have finished production and recently, were selected & screened at the SAFILM Festival!

What your donation will go towards:

The remaining 15,000 dollar goal (out of 25,000) will go towards marketing for the documentary, remaining post-production costs, and film festival submission and travel fees.

Time is of the essence! We need funds to continue to cover the costs of marketing, to get the film in front of as many eyes as we can. We need your help! Please donate or share (or both) so we can get this project out to the largest audience possible!

I consider myself lucky and grateful to have been part of the NEISD Adapted P.E. and Special Olympics programs and would love to contribute to these communities with the continued outreach of this project.
