SPED STUDENTS TO GO TO DR. SEUSS EXPERIENCE

We teach students with autism and ID in the alternate curriculum. All of our students are within the moderate to severe range . Most of our students have deficits in communication, behavior, cognitive , vocational and social skills. We use the alternate curriculum to access content in English, Math, Social Studies, and Science.

Our school is a Title 1 school meaning our school receives federal funds to assist in meeting the educational goals of low income students. A lot of our activities and materials are hands on to make the curriculum accessible to our students.

We need the funds to take class to the DR. SEUSS EXPERINCE here in Los Angeles!

It would be the ultimate Christmas gift to our students who haven't been able to go as much around with experiences like this.
