Speech Team Dreams: Revive the Talking Pirates

Greetings all,

My name is Kale Rister, and I coach the speech team here at Pope County High School (among other things!). This is the first year in several that PCHS has had a speech team, and I am thrilled to bring this program and the activity that I love back to this wonderful community.

The team is already off to a great start, and we’re working hard on getting our pieces performance ready by our first tournament this November. But, we’re a little strapped for cash. Going to tournaments, buying rehearsal materials, and other speechie odds and ends adds up, but you can help!
