Heaven rec'd a warrior today! We love you Spencer!

Sunday December 27th Spencer wasn't feeling well, we went and had him tested for covid-19. Monday morning he woke up feeling very short of breath. We went to the ER, found out he was Covid positive and shortly after they admitted him to ICU.  They were trying not to intubate him but they but he was not maintaining his oxygen so he was intubated shortly after. I am not able to be there with him since no visitors are allowed for covid positive patients so the Drs and nurses call me and give updates. Right before they intubated him I got to talk to him and tell him he needs to fight so hard because we need him to come home. He said it doesn't look good but he will. 

He is on very high ventilator settings. He is on medications to keep him sedated, pain control, and keep his blood pressure up. They have put him on his stomach because that is supposed to help. 

Getting better from covid when someone is this sick takes time. The Drs think he will be intubated for 2-4 weeks and possibly longer.

 Spencer obviously isn't working and I am taking a leave from work to be with our children. All funds raised will go to Spencers medical bills.
