“By now I think most people know that Spencer was killed tonight while chasing a suspect. My heart is completely broken. He was the best father and husband and I’m in physical pain realizing that he won’t come home. Thank you to everyone who has come to be with me. I can’t respond to everyone but will post again with arrangements. Please keep praying for us, for me to be strong for Eloise and for LeeAnn and Dan because I cannot imagine the pain of losing a child. I know that there aren’t words, but please keep telling me your stories of Spencer. I want Eloise to hear about him everyday. Please keep sharing pictures. Thank you to everyone who has been here.”
