Spence’s Phalloplasty Surgery

Hi everyone! I am excited to announce that I will be having RFF Phalloplasty on February 13 2023! This surgery has been a dream of mine since I was young and I cannot believe it is finally happening!

A Bit About Me

I am a 30 year old trans masculine individual living with my fiancé and our 2 dogs and 2 cats. Currently I work as a public health coordinator for the YWCA and I couldn’t be happier. I will be finishing my degree in public health in May 2023.

The Surgery

RFF phalloplasty is an incredibly complicated surgery that is performed in stages. I am currently pursuing stage 1 at this moment. Stage 1 phalloplasty is about a 6-8 hour surgery involving a surgery team of microsurgeons and plastic surgeons. My surgery will take place in Texas and I would have to stay in Texas for 5 weeks after surgery for recovery.

The Ask

I am asking for a total of 6,500 dollars for surgery costs and fees. The entire cost of surgery including my co pay, out of pocket max, flights, lodging, food, medical supplies, missed work, etc is 13,000. I will be raising half of this amount on my own and am hoping the community can help with the other half.
