- Initiative idea:-
After the events of 10 April 2023 in Gaza, the war on Gaza began very harshly. The heavy shelling of all Gaza Strip did not divide the occupation army between a civilian and a military. The occupation carried out indiscriminate shelling of homes, schools and universities. The death toll began. Medical sources in Gaza stated that the number of children killed as a result of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip was 13,000 and 430, while the number of martyrs killed was estimated at 8,000 and 900 since 7 October.
Because of this war, many children lost their parents to shelling and massacres, including all members of their family, including the homeless, injured, disabled, and displaced after the shelling of their homes. The children suffered many tragedies and suffering.
Prior to this war, UNICEF estimated that more than 500,000 children needed psychological health services and psychosocial support in the Gaza Strip. Today, our estimates indicate that almost all children need those services, that is, more than a million children.
These children have nothing to do with this conflict. However, they suffer and no child should suffer. No child, whatever his or her religion, nationality, language or race, should be subjected to the level of violence that we witnessed on October 7, or to the level of violence that we have seen since then."
Hence the idea of the Joy Gates initiative to form a youth team, and through your support and donations, we will be able to bring joy and joy and provide material and moral support to them.
- Objective of the Initiative:
To support the children of Gaza, to raise their funds, to paint a smile on the face of a million Palestinian children, to alleviate their suffering and their pain, to provide them with the necessary psychological and financial support, to renew their energy and activity, to bring happiness into their hearts and to restore the little innocence of their childhood lost during the war through a number of activities, including:
1. Entertainment activities
2. Opening of an educational centre to establish their right to education
3. Food and drink and support
4. Treatment and medication for infected children
5. Provision of cash and in-kind assistance
6. Purchase of necessary clothing, toys, etc.
7. Provision of material, psychological and moral support
8. Many other activities and events
We will all work together together, with God's permission, to make this good initiative a success. We will be able to save the children of Gaza first thanks to God and then thanks to the efforts of the good people and donors. Let each one of us have a better reputation. All activities and activities will be documented by voice and image in order to convey our message to the world in all honesty and transparency that our children have the right to live in life and to make their voices and innocence available to the greatest number of people around the world.
- Review of one of the war victims' stories:
At 2 p.m., 21-3-2023 the Israeli army shelled my sister house in the Nuseirat camp in the centre of the Gaza Strip, killing my sister Amani and her husband and three of her children, Joseph and her little son Hamza, and her only child, Nour, and keeping her alive (Mohammed, Azaldin and Khalid). They took them out of the rubble alive with minor injuries. After they were discharged from the hospital, when I spoke to them, I saw fear and terror in their eyes because of what they saw at that time.
I was deeply saddened by the loss of my sister, but I was happy to see that she had three children left alive, so I put them under my care, so that I might make it up to them, and the rest of my nephews were my inspiration for this idea.
The lesson is that when I saw their untold grief and loss to my sister, her children, and her husband, and the children who lost their parents, I decided to start this initiative to make up for a small portion of the suffering they suffered from homelessness, displacement, lack of food, and terror.
- In conclusion:--
We have come to you with all hope that you will save all these children from the hell of war and the blackness of life and return to them their innocent childhood and to the completion of their lives full of bad memories of war, every small or large donation that will change their lives for the better, and that will mean so much to them and your generous efforts and contributions that children will be able to overcome the tragedy of war and see the light again after they have lived in grief, pain and grief for many years to lose their loved ones.
Together, one hand to reach the happiness and relief of a million Palestinian children.
And thank you all for your heart.
