Spicer/Mazerolle Fire Relief Fund

On Friday, July 8, 2016 at 1:30 am, my friends, Velvet Spicer, her husband, Brian Mazerolle, Velvet's parents, Gene and Millie Spicer and their dog Lido, narrowly escaped a devastating fire in their home.  While they are all safe, the house is not.  Velvet, a journalist, works from home and lost all of her work (computer, hard drive etc.).  She lost all of her crafts (card making materials and scrapbooking) and hobbies.  Brian, a musician, lost all of his instruments and hobbies.  Everything that wasn't destroyed is covered in soot and some things, like medicines, clothing, household items, cannot be cleaned.

It may be a long while before they can get back in the house and get everything back in order.  It's really like starting all over so they need everything that a household would need.
