Spiers Bank Disabled Access
Staff from Driffield School will be completing the 44-mile Wold Rangers Way in 1 day to raise money to fund a ramp which will improve disabled access to Spiers Bank House.
Spiers Bank House is a residential centre within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Since 1983, the property has been managed by Spiers Bank House Trust, a registered charity which allows groups of young people – accompanied by qualified adults – to have the opportunity to stay in the centre, using it as a base to safely explore and enjoy the countryside. We are fundraising across the school and local community as we seek to install full disabled access and facilities in the centre to ensure that in future years Spiers Bank is available to all students, no matter their circumstances. Spiers Bank has been a part of the Driffield community for many years and we hope that you will feel able to invest in its development so that it can continue to benefit future generations.
