Spike's wellness and recovery campaign

Donation protected
As many of you know, Spike/Shane Matau was in a serious accident in Thailand in late October, damaging his spinal cord. He underwent emergency surgery in Bangkok to repair his spine and then was transported back to the VA Hospital in Seattle to continue his recovery.

He's lost partial movement of his hands, legs, fingers and has a long road of recovery to walk, use his hands, and become independent and heathy again. We know the VA is the right place for him and his recovery.

We are asking for help in recovering some of the funds his family paid for surgery, the hospital stays, the physical therapy, and the medical transport back to the US. We also would love to ensure that he continues his great care and road to recovery in the VA and after he is released in a few months, to be able to live the life he wants to live.

We would love donations and support of any kind or amount, and have been overwhelmed by the amount of love, support and good energy that you all are sending his way.

Thank you for supporting Spike in his road to recovery!
