Spinal Disease

Hi, my name is Cassie Thorpe; I have lived with my family in the Whitsundays for the past eight years. Since 2009 I have been battling a spinal disease, with severe thinning and myelomalacia of my cervical cord. Up until a couple of weeks ago, I could drive a car short distances and attend social outings in the community. Within a couple of weeks, my health declined rapidly, leaving me paralyzed from the chest down. The Royal Flying Doctors flew me to Brisbane, where I am being looked after in the Neurology ward. I have had many tests, CT, MRI, lumbar puncher and more tests one after the other; I am still waiting on answers to what has caused this. I will need home modifications for me to be able to return home and have a 24-hour career. I miss my daughter so much. She is only 17 months old; I want to come home and live my best life with my family. Please help my family bring me home. Funds will be used for home modifications and the medical treatment required.
