Spinal reconstruction surgery

This is Kim Sauls Begay, many of you know her for her works with wildlife rescue, her activism with Environmental and wildlife here in Florida. She has been working with birds since she was sixteen years old, volunteering with Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary while wearing her Brace for scoliosis (since age 12), which she wore for 23 hours a day for five years. The time is finally here to have her reconstructive spinal surgery in New York. The surgery has been pushed up to September instead of November making this Go Fund me request all that more urgent. She needs Medical deductible/Copay and funds for her travels for herself and loving family members, she will also need to find accommodation in New York City for at least a week after discharge. Kim is presently the Vice President and Conservation Advocate at Clearwater Audubon Society, Vice-Chair at Friends of the Pelicans inc. and of course the wildlife rescuer we have all come to love and adore. She rescues seven days a week, weekends, holiday, and nights. She is a consultant for osprey nesting issues for Clearwater Audubon. She is an expert in catching birds that can fly with her snaring technique. Her husband is Navajo Indian, he has been working hard and saving every penny for this life-changing surgery. Her son and husband also volunteer for wildlife rescue, pick up litter on the beaches, fishing line, etc. They are the most kind-hearted, beautiful souls I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Kim and her family do so much for the wildlife and Environment that it is time to give back and show our appreciation for these Grand Stewards of the Environment. She shouldn't have to worry about money, she needs to focus on the surgery, getting it done and past her, and begin the healing process so she can get back to helping our wildlife and environment. She suffers from severe kyphoscoliosis, surgery will be 20 vertebral fusions, posterior osteotomy of L1, three rods, basically a complete spine reconstruction of back. Surgery extremely complex and being performed by Dr. Lawrence Lenke, number one spine deformity surgeon in the world. Please consider helping out in her time of need.
