Spinal IVDD surgery & heart stent operations for Dexter
Donation protected
Hi,
On Monday 19th August, I woke up to find my two year old dog Dexter was paralysed from his stomach down & unable to move his two back legs and in severe pain.
I immediately took him to the vets to be told he has IVDD, which means intervertebral disc disease. A painful spinal disorder.
Currently he is in a animal hospital on morphine & a drip. The vet has advised he will need a MRI scan and spinal surgery immediately.
Dexter was born with a level 4 heart murmur, meaning I was unable to insure him for any veterinary bills. The cost of the surgery is £6000.
This has come as a sudden shock! Any donations would be much appreciated.
