Spine Infection over load!

Hi my name is Leigh/Lisa. I woke up 5 months ago with my back in pain. I let my primary doctor know and they set up PT. Well, pt didn't do anything except make it worse. Finally an MRI was ordered for the 24th of December (ya I know, Christmas eve ) Christmas morning my phone is blowing up from Hospital to Inform me to get to ER that they had found a spine infection and I needed to start antibiotics asap. After spending 5 weeks on PICC line antibiotics 3*a day my pain suddenly escalated. ER did Mri and informed me that infection had gotten worse rather than better and I would now be looking at a spine fusion due to the T11 and 12 vertebra being compromised. However now they have to do an antibiotics holiday before they can do open spine biopsy and then have to wait to make sure cultures are clean so they can do spine fusion surgery. So my time line for healing has gone from 6 weeks to indefinitely as well as my Lupus going crazy since I am off all my lupus meds due to the infection.. My wife is awesome and supportive but now she is having to take on my finances as well. I have been removing anything I can such as putting my truck in storage for my insurance to take a brake but that doesn't cover all of my personal and medical expenses before and in the months to come. Any help I can get to help to keep my world afloat until this is all over would be amazing and appreciated. Being dependent emotionally, physically and then financially is so beyond frustrating! There is nothing like every bit of control of your life being ripped away from you! Can't work, can't drive my truck, and no idea of the time or out come of surgery! Everything in my world has been tossed in the air with no idea where it is to land! No, I don't need millions, just enough to help over the next 5 +/- months to help not put all of the burden on my wife for my personal finances. Thank you in advance for any help that you can give!
