My name is Rachel Shapiro and I am a midwife, researcher, and a Spinning Babies® Approved Trainer.

I’m seeking your help to raise $275,000 to fund a high-quality Randomized Control Trial (RCT) to research a new paradigm supporting physiological birth. This will be an unprecedented study. Our study design will assess Spinning Babies® Three BalancesSM techniques combined with Pelvic Levels SolutionsSM in 10,000 births.*

Here's why we need your financial help to start this research:

Physiological birth is not profitable. Therefore, research for physiological birth is funded by the people using physiological birth. That’s YOU!

In the next two months, May and June of 2023, my research team and I need funding to begin. We have a unique opportunity to attain the highest level of research possible. Research of this quality is worthy of publication in all major medical journals.

To conduct quality analysis of this scope, we will work with a private biostatistics company, to maximize results and maintain a strong methodology. With your help, together we will integrate proven protocols to decrease interventions and improve birth outcomes worldwide.

We believe the success of our research will increase personalized care into medical systems internationally. Midwives, physicians and nurses are seeking these skills, and need statistical data to get more hospitals to invest in this training. Medical centers are wanting to integrate these techniques into practice protocols. In order to do this on a large scale, proof is needed.

Our prospective research includes every birth for one year. Study subjects will receive free birth care in the Spinning Babies® approach. Multiple publications to report on the results will occur throughout the study period and in the following year.
