Spirit Away Campaign goes to India

For those of you who don't know me, I am a fiercely passionate 24 year old who has been campaigning to raise money and awareness globally, about the sexual exploitation of women through the Human Trafficking Trade in India.
As a personal goal I created the 'Spirit Away Campaign' where I sell handcrafted arts and giftware as alternative gift ideas, with profits donated towards the fight for freedom of woman caught in the Trafficking trade. I have set a goal of personally raising $10,000 to be donated through this campaign and have achieved 3/10 of this goal already through many of your support. I am so thankful!
As a result of my campaigning, advocating and awareness raised amongst my friends and family, I was eligible and have been offered just 1 of 14 positions nationally to accompany a group of individuals to India in January with the 'Stop the Traffik' organization.
Why is this so important?
This trip allows me to have first hand experience, network and engage with people and organisations actively working 'on the ground' in the fight for freedom of trafficking victims. I am wanting to move my part-time activity to full-time passion. This trip will provide me with the hands on experience, engagement and vocabulary to continue to be a voice and advocate for these woman. I aim to take the inspiration and confronting nature of this trip to ignite my passion further to make a difference. Plus I get to personally donate some of the money I have raised through my own campaigning! With only 1-2% of trafficking victims every rescued, I am making it a need to see a statistical change in my lifetime.
What this money will be used for.
The money raised in this 'Go Fund Me' Page will make me eligible to go on this trip without taking away from any of the donations I have already raised or money that could otherwise be used to directly support the cause. It will cover the cost, insurance and all essential expenses of the trip. Any additional money left over will be donated to organisations helping the fight for freedom.
