Everyone can achieve something great!
Please help support the Spirit Orcas as they swim through Canada’s Great Bear Rain Forest on the central coast of British Columbia.
This July Spirit Orcas Ben, Dixon, Drew, Cheyenne, Aly and Maria will put their open water swim skills to the test by swimming a 25km relay through Gunboat Pass to Bella Bella.
Where's Bella Bella?
Bella Bella, also known as Waglisla, is the home of the Heiltsuk and is located on the east coast of Campbell Island in the Central Coast of British Columbia. Bella Bella is 900 km north of Victoria, and 144 km west of Bella Coola. The community is on Lama Passage, part of the Inside Passage.
How you can help?
We are currently seeking financial support to help with cost of travel, including ferries, lodging and our safety boat. On February 10 we are having a swim-a-thon to help raise funds. Your kind support would be greatly appreciated. As a thank you for your contribution you will receive exclusive electronic updates from the rain forest as these incredible athletes embark on their adventure.
Contributions can be made in the form of cash or online. Contact [email redacted] for more information follow the Spirit Orcas on their journey on Facebook or on the Great Bear Swim website at greatbearswim.com
